Do you have WiFi?
Yes, simply register on your device online. Your first hour is free and you pay from the second hour onwards. Our friendly staff at reception will be happy to help with any further information.
Remember, you are choosing a holiday in a rural location. Our broadband service is also rural! You may find it slow, intermittent or simply unavailable. We are sorry for any inconvenience but are not able to guarantee the service.
Can I book online?
Yes: visit www.gillespie-leisure.co.uk and click ‘book now’. You’ll also find the ‘book now’ button at the top of this page.
What are the pitches like?
Most pitches are of grass and gravel with electric hook-up or fully serviced for our motorhomes and tourers.
Do you take tents?
Yes, we have grass pitches for tents and some with electric hook up near to the toilet block.
What type and length of cable do I need for my electric pitch?
You need a standard outdoor 16 amp/240v mains electric cable, up to 15 metres long.
Is there an additional charge for electric?
No, it’s included within your nightly charge.
Is there an iron and ironing board?
Yes, in the laundry at the toilet block.
Are the facilities and activities available all year round?
Sorry no, Barlochan has a 7 month season, therefore our shop, tv/games room, outdoor children’s play area, toilet block with laundry are open from 1st April – 31st October, unless Easter is earlier and we open a day or two before Easter. Our heated outdoor pool (for customers staying on the park) is open from mid-May till mid-September weather dependant.
Can I request a pitch number?
Yes, we’ll do our best to ensure you get the pitch you are looking for, if it is available.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival time for touring and camping pitches is from 1pm. Departure time is 11am. Please let us know if you are going to arrive later than 5.00pm so that we can make arrangements for your late arrival.
Where can I park my car?
Next to your pod, motorhome, tourer or tent.
Can I book more than one pitch?
Yes. Please give us the names of those you’re booking for when you pay your and their deposit(s). We do accept group bookings as long as you ring and check with us beforehand.
Can I be next to my friends and family?
Let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to place you as near to each other as possible.
Can I put my awning up?
Yes, subject to an additional charge and for a short period so not to destroy the grass.
